Tomorrow in Philly for Mumia
Tomorrow afternoon --Saturday, Feb. 13, from noon to 5 p.m. -- at the Abiding Truth Ministries Church in Philadelphia, supporters of death-row political prisoner Mumia Abu Jamal will gather for a teach-in to take up the challenge of how to step up the campaign to save this precious brother's life. Philly is an easy car, bus or train ride from pretty much anywhere in the entire mid-Atlantic region and the NYC area. The task, in the wake of the recent Supreme Court decision that could quickly result in the reinstatement of the death penalty and even the setting of a new execution date, is urgent.
