The annual Day of Land is dedicated to the struggle to regain the stolen land of Palestine. Specifically it memorializes the March 30, 1976, killing by Israeli troops of six Palestinians who were peacefully protesting continuing confiscation of Palestinian land.The Brooklyn event is sponsored by Al-Awda Palestine Right to Return Coalition NY. It's Saturday at 4:00 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, at the Widdi Catering Hall: 4602 Sixth Avenue (N or R train to 59th Street).
